Geez. You guys are idiots. This movie - like the previous one and the television series that came before it - is a COMEDY. This flashback sequence is supposed to be funny. It's going to be done in a comedic way. The girls are supposed to look hideous. That's part of the fun. Everyone looked hideous in the 80s!
