The reason the economy is remembered as being so good is BECAUSE everyone was loaning money left and right. They were taking money they didn't have and using it on things they didn't need. Here's a little simple economics for you since you don't understand: When people use money, it goes into the economy. It is then used over and over, whether to pay wages for employees or whatnot. However, when the people who loaned out and spent the money couldn't pay it back, guess what happens... THERE ARE REPERCUSSIONS... It took over eight years because Clinton was pushing it off and pushing it off for the next president. I'm not saying Bush was the greatest president ever. I am saying that you should take you head out of your butt to realize it started when Clinton threw all our money out like he was in the freaking Macy's Day Parade.
