Wow the haters are just so damn ignorant I wouldn't know where to begin. First of all it's pretty obvious that most of them never watched either series. It's the highest rated show on the CW for a reason. It's NOT supposed to be the original 90210 people need to stop expecting that and get over it. Second, neither Jennie nor Shannen were "desperate" to come back. Jennie dropped out of another show to come back to 90210. Shannen didn't immediately jump on the bandwagon either, it took a lot of begging and convincing from the producers. Luke just has a massive ego, it's not like he's got anything else going for him. Tori Spelling still wants to work something out. Brian Austin Green said he would love to make a cameo if and when his schedule allows. So not everyone has got their head up their ass like Luke does. They are asking for a few guest appearances not a full time commitment. No other American TV show has ever gotten this opportunity so no way in hell can it be considered a "step backwards." You're right on the money this time Perez, to hell with Dylan BRING ON BRANDON! Kelly's true soulmate. I was die hard fan of the original and I'm addicted to the new spin off as well, they've done an AMAZING JOB, and ratings don't lie.
