Looking at this picture, I get the immediate impression that he has treated Rihanna this way before, not as severely but when you see what he has done to her face (her forehead is swollen, her eyes are swollen, here nose is swollen and her lips are swollen) you just instinctively get that feeling. I just don't understand why he would resort to beating her that severely? she must have provoked him in some way? regardless of that, I agree with the majority of the commenters. Chris needs to be arrested, this is unacceptable. He made the worst possible decision to hurt Rihanna and he will definitely regret it on a personal level and also on a career level.
Perez, I just thought I'd let you know Kanye West gave his own commentary on the situation with Ryan Seacrest recently, its on Youtube. It seems like Kanye knew Rihanna pretty well. It may be a good idea to post that up, maybe for her, so that she can feel a bit better?
anyways I wish Rihanna all the best in a speedy recovery, emotionally and physically. We all got to support her right now. Noone should ever have to go through being hurt like that alone!

I think his response was correct. If the DP is in the shot that is bad. They have to redo the scene every time some mishap happens and it costs money (for film, as well as editing) as well as the actors time because of the screw up. How would you like to redo a scene 10 times if one of the crew members kept making a mistake. The Director should have been doing his job and keeping the dp in line rather than the actor.
I wish you people would quit being so quick to judge. Christian is a serious actor, he knows what he is doing and he wants to do a good job. That's it. If you know about the rest of his films you know he puts 110% into what he does.
