I have a very hard time believing this, considering that it's incredibly hard to adopt from a Muslim country and pretty much impossible if you're not Muslim yourself. I've looked into it, they have very complicated laws on adoption. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure they would never let a woman adopt without the husband, they may not even let a woman adopt at all.

You can't unnecessarily augment your body, Leviticus 19:28, “You shall not make gashes in your flesh for the dead, or incise any marks on yourselves".
