McCain made over $47 million in August. Obama made $50 million in July. Not too far off.

Also, when Palin was announced as McCain's running mate, McCain received over $10 million dollars. He also walked away from the convention with over $200 million between his campaign and the GOP funds to elect McCain.

So yeah, in other words, the GOP and McCain are doing just fine in terms of fundraising.

Here's some information that people don't know about: Both McCain and Obama have the same policies on same-sex marriage . . . both only support CIVIL UNIONS. They both want rights for gays, but they don't want to call it "marriage".
