Lay off the MLK references. You make yourself look like an ass. One plight does not = another plight. We can walk down the street without being harassed, vote without having to take a test on US gov't, or worry about some dudes in cloaks stringing us up in trees. Blacks suffered all those injustices -- this is only about marriage, not a slew of human rights violations that would make the ACLU's metaphorical head spin. I agree Prop 8 is a shame but you cannot compare the plight of African-Americans in this country to what we are going through now.
