There is NO way that a man will come out the sympathetic one in a case like this. The best thing he could do is let it alone, and go do better for himself. If she's not being truthful, it will come out. If her denigration of him is wrong, it will come back to haunt him. The majority of folks that frequent sites like this don't WANT him to be right, so they will never allow him to be.
