A very wise person once said that religions that fail to adapt to changing mores are demoted from religions to metaphoric myth systems. Christianity falls into that category.

If you claim you can't judge all priests by the ones that rape little boys, then wouldn't the same apply to gays? You can't judge all gays by the behaviors of few. I'm married, and I'm very happily married to my husband. Neither of us think that gays getting married would undermine OUR relationship in any way. We're not prejudiced against anyone...frankly, I'm so sick of Christians. They preach tolerance and acceptance, but never practice what they preach. You're all pathetic and make me sad. I will continue to judge all priests by the actions of a few while you judge all gays by the actions of a few, and I can promise you I'll never leave my son alone with a priest!

They've actually gone back and pretty much proven that your savior was fucking a whore. The Holy "Babble" is the biggest work of fiction ever written...amazing for a read if you want to read about all that stupid shut...a pregnant virgin. Fuck that, it's so stupid. I'll read the Harry Potter books any day, those are WAY more believable.

I love the books...but it seems to me they're trying too hard with this movie. A few of the things in the trailer, like Harry's flippant comment about being the chosen one, were WAY out of character. Of course, I read each book in less than 12 hours...so needless to say, I'm a teensy bit obsessed. It looks a bit overdone, but I guarantee I'll be there in the front row on opening night!!!!

I actually ended up arguing this point with a friend of mine who is Christian, and he insisted that all men AREN'T created equal because the bible says so. I am no longer speaking to him because I can't stand that idea. I accept everyone with no prejudice, because that's how I was raised. I love my mom.
