Congress does not need John McCain to fix this issue. I think that the rest of the hundreds of politicians can handle the situation. He is so self-important he thinks Washington will not run without him...Also, he is just afraid of Obama's charisma, confidence and common sense. McCain is going to look like the old incompetent fool that he is. He is just using this economic crisis as an excuse. By the way, last week John McCain was quoted as saying "The fundamentals of the economy are strong," and now all of a sudden he can't participate in a debate. Give me a break. Anyone who votes for McCain has no intelligence. He is going to be a disaster just like Bush. And--don't even get me started on that right-wing, creationist, global warming non-believer Palin....
