I'm with you on this. Obviously we don't know all the details, because according to what we're told, it makes no sense. If he was working on the idea in his off time from Mattel, it gives them absolutely no right to try to claim it. But with that being said, I honestly don't even see how Mattel can claim rights in the first place. What if it'd been some different kind of child's toy, like a line of male action figures-- would they try to claim rights to that? What if the Bratz dolls had been a total bust-- would Mattel even care? Money makes people so fickle.
I like the electro thing he's been doing lately. The cover wasn't bad, I guess. But I can't really get over the fact that when he sings, he sounds like a prepubescent teen. He's still hot though. So whatever.
