perez, the book was really good--you should read it... it is a pretty quick read! the girl is not really a genius or a rainman, she's just good at math and thinks in terms of numbers all the time. she knocks on wood all the time and has some other quirks, like she washes her mouth out with soap to make herself sick to get out of sexual situations with guys... i guess jessica alba isn't how i pictured the girl (especially because she's supposed to be 20 in the book), but it could be a good movie. i know i thought the book was really interesting, and i look forward to seeing how the movie turns out.

Perez, I didn't know Jessica was doing An Invisible Sign of My Own, but that is actually based on a very good book that I just happened to have finished reading only a couple weeks ago... I'm very excited that they're making it into a movie!!!
