pointandlaugh is right. The Examiner does not represent SF in any way. The owner is some Christian conservative in Colorado, who was a staunch supporter of Bush. This is no surprise. Plus, no one in SF reads the Examiner. We refer to it as unsolicited junk mail that just litters the streets.
Glad you brought that up. It was an op ed piece in the LA Times. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

as a reply on the comment by Smirks[/re] Actually, I'd rather be friends with the present day Bill Ayers than Limbaugh. Limbaugh's ignorance and hypocrisy is unbearable and makes me think that it has to be a ruse. No one can be that stupid. Ayers is a former radical, who met Obama two decades after he was involved with the Weather Underground. His actions during the 60s and 70s were horrible, but he's not the same idiot kid who let his emotions get the best of him.
Most people view Camille Paglia as a whackjob anyway. One minute she loves Obama, the next it's Palin. Plus, I still can't get over her stance on global warming and homosexuality.

I do have to agree with you about the multi-party system. I'm a registered democrat, but find a two part system too stifling.
She's considered a POST feminist. She just rejects that label. Feminists who have made a positive impact on society, such as Gloria Steinem, Betty Friedan, Katha Pollit all consider her a fraud. She's damaging figure to the movement. She's a neocon in disguise. You can't trust someone who is friends with Rush Limbaugh!
