They shouldn't take bonuses... if the company isn't recording a BETTER quarter than before, the CEo and other C-level execs are not doing their jobs properly and should be replaced. Even in this weakened economy, there are still businesses that are flourishing when run properly. If your business isn't being run properly, you shouldn't get a performance-based bonus.
