Marriage was a concept invented by the church, hence it was based on their doctrine. In that doctrine, it condemns homosexuality, and the definitive trait of marriage is that it is between a MAN and a WOMAN!
Civil unions are allowed for homosexuals, but marriage is a concept that can only be modified by the creators of the concept. For other special interest groups to try to change a concept that does not belong to them is like someone who does not own a product to tamper with it for their own special interest though it has been copyrighted.
Gays are still free to live together and they are not thrown in jail for it, and civil unions are permitted, so the only real difference is semantics. Get over it, Perez.
I find it absolutely childish that Perez would ask for her opinion, only to criticize her for having the "audacity" to have beliefs contrary to her own.
The concept of marriage belongs to the church, and for other special interest groups to attempt to modify the definitive traits of marriage is tantamount to an outsider trying to change the integral conditions of a trademarked item that does not belong to them.
On the other side of the coin, people are not thrown in jail for homosexual behavior, and homosexual partners are permitted to live with each other. They are also permitted to join together in a civil union, but that cannot be called a marriage because they do not conform to the standards set forth by the creators of the concept of marriage. Get over it.
Even if she was invited in, and if they later wanted her out of there, then they just ask her to leave the booth. If she refuses, the Bodyguard should just place himself between her and the DJ case, and walk her out of the booth without laying a hand on her. If she refuses or resists, then guide her gently, you don't all out push her (or any woman).
