on Voto Latino! at 19:42 10/20/2008I think people are missing the point - it's a spin off the "novelas" we use to watch as kids, if you watched spanish language television w/ ur parents. They were cheesy, overly dramatic, and so on and so forth, this was meant to be that way, it is meant to resonate with those Latinos. If you didn't grow up watching the novelas, then you might not understand.
