Perez was asked as a judge to choose the person who would best represent the United States to the world, and as a nation of great diversity, we needed someone who would not opt for exclusion/divisiveness as her answer to this issue. It's not 'political correctness'--it's choosing a sensitive, diplomatic person to represent our nation in this particular area. That was his job, and Perez carried it out. Miss California had no trouble sniping right back at Perez in her interviews this morning--I'm VERY glad she was not chosen.
