Those of us who work in script drama have long known...all that matters to networks and studios anymore is WHAT CAN I MAKE FOR NO MONEY? That's why you're seeing so much "reality" garbage on TV these days. BTW, where have you been?! This has been going on for 5 years now. If you REALLY want a return to decent television STOP WATCHING the dreck they're broadcasting and demand better. Low ratings on their crap shows will force execs to reconsider their development choices.
