I make a $100k and it really is not a lot of money now. I live in a modest 3 br home and have a $450/ month car paymet which is a little high but not ridiculous. I only have one kid who is in pre-school. I don't spend a lot of money on frivolous items and I still find it extremely hard to save money. Gas, groceries, mortgage payments, etc are really expensive. I am not saying "oh poor me" by any means, but to have the average american life from the 1950's you have to make at least that.
If the "war" was really about terrorism it would have been over a long time ago. We have more than enough technology to find the scum bags that need to be fuond. Every once in a while they "catch" someone to make it look like they are really doing something.
Wake up people...it's being dragged out so that Bush and all of his oil buddies can make BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of dollars in ridiculous profits from all of us Americans that bust our ass every day to get by! McCain will continue the war and do what he can to hide what his party has done before hm. That is definitely not the direction our country needs to continue to go.
