Parents don't t usually take the kids to the hospital unless something gives them the impression something is wrong. Obviously if the child lost consciousness or something like that you would take them in but if they won't stop crying (sign of pain), aren't having trouble walking (sign of confusion etc.) or are acting strangely you rush them in, other than that it is just another day.
