I would like to see her so-called "charity" be investigated before people give her so much credit for contributing to a "good cause."
If Dizzy Feet is a front organization for Scientology, then what they're doing is trying to lure in unsuspecting young people who have an interest in dance.
I would be very surprised if Dizzy Feet is not run by Scientology. If it is run by CO$, then there is nothing altruistic going on.
Katie performed, not for charity, but for her own VANITY.
Would you call the gift of a Trojan Horse a "good cause?"
It's not a good "CAUSE" if it's a front for Scientology! She may not be performing for charity--she may be trying to attract vulnerable young people into a Scientology scam.
So I won't leave it alone--I don't want to see any more unsuspecting people lured into Scientology.
This foundation, Dizzy Feet, does not have much information on its website--it's vague. It's entirely possible that this is a Scientology front organization, pretending to be a charity.
Perez cannot just come out and accuse Dizzy Feet of being a fraudulent charity formed for the purpose of luring unsuspecting people into Scientology. So he mocks Katie, to avoid getting into legal trouble.
I think Perez is trying to draw attention to the dangers of Scientology without getting sued by this so-called "religion." They're extremely vicious and are known for suing and harassing anyone who disagrees with them.
Also, Perez does not have to be able to dance in order to voice his opinion, that's ridiculous. I doubt that Nigel Lythgoe could dance as well as some of the performers on his show, but that doesn't mean he can't critique them.
Not really a valid argument. Perez has plenty of faults, but this is not one of them.
I wanted to add that Katie kept smirking like she thought she was really hot.
This made the routine worse than ever.
Bad enough to be a poor dancer, but to be a poor dancer and think you're great, that's even worse.
Katie must think she's using her Scientology OT powers to fool the audience. Someday she will catch on that Scientology is a scam and none of their claims are real.
Since when is lousy dancing defended by saying, "Oh yeah? Well, I bet YOU couldn't do that!"
This lame, irrational argument, which I see on this board a number of times, sounds like the mentality of the average Scientologist.

Actually, she WAS lip-synching.
A couple of other points.
