Sorry Amy sweetie! But once you have emphysema, you only have a couple of years to live, even if you stop smoking. Once your lung capacity begins decreasing, it decreases rapidly, so rapidly in fact that people that gets diagnosed are immediately put on oxygen machines and given aubuterol for bronchial spasm. Even with that your lung capacity decreases 20% every year! Survival is 70% against...at best!

That's why I hate smoking!!! It kills our best and brightest!!!
