Perez is burning!! And why? The guy is angry, p*ssed off and full of pain! I reckon he targets female celebrities especially they are getting so much of the attention from the wider male population. Reason for targeting?: Extreme jealousy.
Being blunt here; if Perez got laid/loved more he wouldn't be so full of spite and nastiness and he wouldn't be so extreme in his attacks. Lighten up America, you've created a culture where the 'straight, white man' is God (Yes, even still).
P.S. And besides, maybe Eva left the nicotine patches at home by accident ;-)

D.S.S., maybe you should read through a bit more of Perez's blog; a popular perception of the guy is that he always b*tches, moans, criticizes and rips female Hollywood apart; but look deeper. I am surprised at times how balanced Perez is with some of his articles. The blog reads more like US Weekly at times which can be pithy, clear and straight out informative. Sure, Perez writes with a knife at times but at least he has the b*lls to do it in a public forum and not hide behind doors. If he really says what he thinks and is willing to put up with the consequences then I think he should be applauded for this and not kicked around. Long live freedom of speech, and those who are willing to take the blows for speaking their minds!

I have just finished reading an interesting article about Perez in a back edition of Rollingstone magazine; this guy is one tough cookie to be sure and has triumphed against the odds. Kudos to you Perez; I can't say that I always get the 'rants' that you pen but you got the X factor in truckloads!
