I agree that Miss California had the right to say how she felt and her opinion when asked the question about gay marriage, she did NOT have the right to use it to promote and be part of hte National Organization for Marriage's new ad and make appearances for them. That is not what she should have done because NEITHER view represents the state of California. A tyranny of the majority is what happened with prop 8, and though I disagree with Miss California I don't think she should be punished for her views, but she should be punished for promoting them (through NOM, not the question).
