Hi, I am a 26 year old woman, born and living in Argentina and I take public transport to work everyday. Not because I can't afford a car (I have one), but because traffic in downtown is hell (not to mention parking).
We (passengers of public transport) don't burn trains because we get upset. We are not violent in the streets. We are normal people just like you, and this is a very nice country just like the US (I've been there twice and visited 13 different states).
That whole incident was generated deliberately by political groups that are known to be corrupt and violent, and that carried oil, stones, etc on purpuse to do what they did. NOT by users of public transport who take the train to GO TO WORK. This people were filmed and have been identified. And it's all over the news. Get informed. So please, next time post the right information instead of twisting the truth. Or better, correct what it's been written here.
In addition, Buenos Aires is packed with tourists from the US and all over the world who have the greatest of times and take public transport too, and none seem to be complaining.
