on Palin's Supporters Are Awesome! at 01:40 11/25/2009Seriously Perez? This is nothing new. Before our last presidential elections, Fox News went out and asked many Obama supporters if they liked Obama's choice of Sarah Palin as the VP candidate, and they said "yes." Give me a break. I am convinced that the majority of the people support a political candidate based on his or her party, and they know nothing of the issues each candidate supports. I know, I am heavy into politics (in fact, I blog all the time about it), and most Obama supports cannot mention one Obama issue. There are ignorant people on all sides, and it is sad to think that they vote. Funny thing Perez, one would think that you would be more conservative than you are, since in Cuba (the country where your family is from), gay men are constantly persecuted. And the liberals in this country, they want to give the 9/11 terrorists a fair trial. HAH. You know what would happen to you as a gay man in Iran? Well, let's just say you would be hanged in a public forum, but first comes the torture, and if you don't believe me, then Google what happens to gays in most Islamic countries. Life is not all fun and games Perez, there are people suffering out there, on all sides of the aisle. You seem to be such an Obama supporter, Obama doesn't even condone gay marriage, so exactly what is the difference between Sarah and Obama, as far as political issues that concern you, like gay marriage. Obama has done nothing for gays. Absolutely nothing. Humf.

on Dear Utah! at 19:10 07/12/2009This couple intentionally entered the private church grounds, engaged in behavior antithetical to the church, when asked to leave, they became argumentative, and police were called. If one goes to seek trouble in order to make a political statement, they will find it. If this couple entered my yard, and began kissing, I'd ask them to leave as well, forcibly if necessary (and I am not anti-gay). The church has the right to dictate what type of behavior is acceptable on it's own private property. The couple was fined for trespassing. Clearly the couple trespassed, so what is the issue again?

on Michael Jackson's Father Hits The Red Carpet at 02:59 06/29/2009This guy is a twat face...his son just died, and he is doing "great," and he talks that a superstar died? What? Your son died you egomaniac...no wonder Michael could not stand seeing your face. Michael lived a tortured life because of the abuse he suffered at the hands of this megalomania. He is a sorry excuse for a man. People should ignore this man completely now that Michael has passed. Yuck.

on Prejean Cancels On Special Olympics! at 14:35 06/14/2009The irony here is that Perez is the one who single-handedly gave Prejean the soapbox to talk about her anti-gay marriage position. Yes, it was her opinion, and she's entitled to it, but if Perez would have just let it go, Prejean would have lost the crown anyway, and would have faded into obscurity just like the other contestants have. Now, this "beauty queen," has become the poster child for opposition to same-same marriage. Perez...stop talking about her, people are quickly choosing sides, and this is not what the gay community needs at this time. Gays need to lay low on this issue for a while, organize on a grass-roots level, and bring another measure to the voters in California that would legalize same-same marriage. The African American civil rights movement consisted of peaceful demonstrations, and not going out and attacking (albeit verbally) the opposition, as some gays have done against those that oppose their view. People don't like to be told how to think; gentle persuasion is the key. Try it sometime...let's see where it goes.

on Dear President Obama at 00:47 06/13/2009Seriously Perez, where is your outrage with Obama? You went ballistic the night that Miss C. stated her opinion on same sex marriage, and now you simply state "This really sucks - bit time" upon reading of Obama's position on gay marriage? Obama did not support same-sex marriage prior to this election. Where were you then? You supported Obama, didn't you? You were happy when Obama won. Were you not? When an issue is so important to a community, as same-sex marriage is to the gay community, then one should not support a person that is antithetical to that position, as you did by supporting Obama. You going ballistic on Ms. Prejean, while staying relatively subdued by Obama's well-known position position on gay marriage, makes you look a bit cowardly. What, you only pick on girls?
