Well "marriage" isn't "biological" or "Darwinist" so that's irrelevant from the get go. And nooobody said gay people expected to get married and suddenly be able to procreate, so again, irrelevant. Additionally - are you really discussing animals? What about the animals where the man carries the children to term? Or when the woman gets pregnant and then eats her mate? Who caaares about animals, so irrelevant.

I'd say liberals are more tolerant of people's LIFESTYLES, not BELIEFS. There's no way I'd ever be tolerant of those who are racist, ignorant, etc. How can I be? How can anyone be?

I really can't believe people are sticking up for this Carrie character - she's "entitled to her own opinion" about gay people - what if this had been a comment against a certain race? Remember that time African Americans couldn't drink out of the same water fountains as Caucasians, or when women couldn't vote? It's 2009, we're supposed to be a progressive society, but we keep hiding behind this "entitlement" to our own ignorant opinions. Grow UP, America.
