People are really ridiculous. YOu GO PEREz! I think people really need to think about this logically.. the purpose of Miss America is to find a role model for young american girls to look up to.. When California talks about her answer she sits there and talks about how she was talkin to a homosexual man.. no you were talking to the people of 2009. It is time people stop being so damn ignorant and start being accepting of one another. Especially now.. Look at the young poor boy that killed himself for being teased about being gay- that should be a big enough eye opener that we need to just accept one another and Miss america is one way to get that through to young america. But no instead she continues to spread ignorance.. Way to go Perez for calling her out on it!

I usually just read what you bold in certain articles to get to the point but what is wrong what he says there?.. trust me i couldnt be happier then anyone that Obama is now in office but majority of the nation did vote for Bush for a second term and therefore voted to give him the right to do what he thought was right... we cant criticize him saying this, when majority of the country voted for him Again-- but I believe this is more of a time to look forward.. hes a past president and will undoubtedly be remembered-- Yesterday was a day we will all remember and a huge day in history and whether we chose to recognize it or not Bush is a part of it.. if it werent for some of his mistakes i dont believe we would have felt as strong, powerful, and united as we did yesterday-- so we should look at it in this more positive view then continuing to criticize him-- its done with
