I've read a lot of comments about how she looks to sweet to play a vampire. Read the books people. Jane is supposed to look young, petite, sweet and innocent but in reality is very dangerous. This role is perfect for Dakota, I hope they cast her.

This is such a big relief. People would have been too busy liking or hating Vanessa to concentrate on the rest of the cast, which is awesome.

Leah Clearwater is not a major character in any of the books. She does have a backstory but she isn't that important. I think casting Vanessa would be a nightmare because as a viewer you become more concerned with the fact that it is Vanessa Anne Hudgens instead of the fact that it's Vanessa as Leah Clearwater. We are more concerned with who she is instead of the character she is playing. I think they should cast an unknown person in this role, someone less "Disney," and more mature and serious that will fit in better with the rest of the Twilight cast. I hope this is JUST a rumor.
