Like Obama is the first to ever do this. And HELLO clothes vs. a 30 minutes spent talking on why he should be president?
Kennedy and other politicians have done this too. And Obama NEEDS too. There are people still thinking he's a terrorist! You can not call Perez bias when it's CLOTHES vs. PROMOTING HIMSELF. Asides Obama got donations from normal people TO do this sort of campaigning! It's not like anyone who donated $20 didn't think it'd just sit there.
I just don't understand why there has to be a definition set in stone of what "marriage" is. Everything changes over years, from words to cars to people to the whole world. Lots of things are in fact "traditional" for someone but just because it's traditional doesn't mean it's the perfect, right thing to follow. Social issues like this have patterned through out all of America's history of people's rights. Blacks' rights to get married and be there own person. Womens' rights to vote and choose what to do with their bodies. Sure, there are negatives to each side of the opinion but when it comes down to it: How would ANYONE feel if they couldn't marry someone they loved?
I am for equal rights for everyone. Even though I'm not able to vote I really hope everyone votes against prop 8.
