He had a treatment done to his skin by his dermatologist to correct sun damage from YEARS of playing... he is experiencing something called flaking... it will go away and in person doesn't really look that harsh... it just appears A LOT whiter in pics, but up close you can still see his pigment underneath it all... He will be lighter by a shade or too... A lesson to us all: damaging your skin with harmful sun exposure without sunscreen may result in having to get it fixed...Thank God it can get fixed!
