OMG! I have worked on an ambulance for several years and performed countless rounds of CPR...what kind of a HACK performs CPR on a goddamned BED?! There is ZERO resistance and NO compression of the heart! CPR by definition is the squeezing of the heart muscle between the back of the sternum and front of the spine/back of ribcage...if there is something soft behind the person, the body/heart/thoracic cavity will be pushed down into the bed...
Please people!!!! If someone stops breathing on a bed or couch or anything SOFT, you NEED TO PULL THEM DOWN TO THE FLOOR or the CPR will be completely ineffective! I swear, what kind of a "DOCTOR" doesn't know this?? Also, what kind of a doctor that injects Demerol on a daily basis to any one person, doesn't carry the opioid antidote called Narcan (which can totally block opioid receptors?!)
