People in Hollywood ARE out of touch with real American values. Stating that isn't exactly a newsflash. People who believe that STILL come to gossip websites for the same reason people rubber neck at car-crashes. Most celebrities are total train wrecks who forgot what it was like to be a regular person, or never knew in the first place.
Whether or not the presidential or vice presidential candidates are pro-life or pro-choice is basically a moot point, considering any attempt at overturning Roe v Wade would be thrwarted before the words could exit one's mouth. Personally, I'm pro-life, and find abortion to be murder, plain and simple, but I also don't want the government to be involved in ANY of my healthcare choices, and I believe controlling abortion would be the first step in them controlling my healthcare. Since they've done such a bang up job with the VA (not), I'll continue to ask women NOT to abort, while understanding why it's not the law.
Sarah Palin, John McCain, or any other republican could never overthrow Roe v Wade, it's a ridiculous reason to be "afraid" of someone. Barack Obama, on the other hand, will raise taxes ASTRONOMICALLY to cover all of his "great plans," and in an already tough economy, THAT'S something to be afraid of. Maybe if you make 30 million dollars a year, a couple extra thousand is no big deal, but for those of us in real America, the tax burden is ALREADY crippling.
Newsflash, being pro-life is not forcing ANYONE to become a mother. There's this teensy little thing called "PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY" that all of Hollywood seems to have lost in the shuffle. If you don't want to be a parent, don't have unprotected sex! Wow, that was hard!
