on Saint Brangelina Gives Generously Again at 03:37 09/15/2008They can donate some money to Crystal Beach, TX and help rebuild my home that was lost in hurricane IKE or come down here and pull the boat of of the middle of our living room that was blown into it. Probably not though, since I'm an American and our community is considered middle class and above unlike some other cities Brad rushed to help and rebuild.

on A Worthwhile Cause at 03:33 09/15/2008When is Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Oprah Winfrey, or all the other celebrities that rushed to New Olreans going to come and help my family pull the 60ft boat out of the our dining room that was blown into it by the 62mph winds we suffered in Crystal Beach? I'm sure we won't see anyone of that "caliber" down here trying to turn the 4 million homes with out electricity back on.

on Helping Hand at 03:24 09/15/2008When are they going to come and help my family rebuild our house that we lost on Crystal Beach due to Hurricane Ike? Just because we lived in a town of middle class citizens does not mean we can shell out tons of money upfront to start over and we don't need resources. Maybe they should bring electricity to the 4million people that are without it right now, and some clean clothes. Doubt that is going to happen.

on Adrianne Curry's "Controversial" Comments About Hurricane Ike at 03:19 09/15/2008I have to say that to read the comments from her, and from American citizens below I'm shocked that anyone could be brutal to people in a time of need. Being a TX citizen, and after have lost half of our house on Crystal Beach due to a boat crashing into the side of our home, I must say to anyone that does not live here, you cannot fathom the pain we are dealing with at this time. Yes Ike was considered a "Certain Death" hurricane, but that headline was not announced on TV until the TX coast was being slammed with 17 ft. waves. I was sitting in a hotel in College Station, TX watching our homes being ripped apart just like the rest of you (if any) were and those allegations of it being a life or death hurricane was not shown until late in the evening. No one, not even the weather channel could predict exactly what was going to happen to us.
