it says that this crisis is so SEVERE that it is leading even the most pigheaded man, like Bush, to vote against his own party. clearly the other Republicans are too obsessed with their free-market ideal to make decisions based on the economy's needs as opposed to their own philosophies. McCain and Bush did the right thing by supporting this plan.
