They recommended a helmet when she got there. She refused. (Helmet can prevent brain injuries...) And after the accident, she refused treatment twice.
She said like most of us do: «No, no. I'll be okay.»
Helicopter or not (still, now they think about it), it was too late to save her anyway. But you know what? This week, many people realised how important it is to see a doctor if they hit their head, even when they think it'll be okay... And that wearing a helmet when you practice sports could save your life.
