Kanye clearly has a mental illness. Normal people don't just do what he did (does). Egotism alone doesn't explain his behavior. My guesses: Narcissistic Personality Disorder or megalomania/delusions of grandeur as a symptom of bipolar disorder. This doesn't excuse his actions but I really don't feel that he is in control of his behavior.
