Why???? Why continue this with her? I was on your side all the way up until this post!!!! Victims of child abuse don't always speak out because they don't want to continue to feel victimized. This doesn't even fall into the same category. This isn't about opinion. If this is true, she was a helpless child at the time. This is extreme exploitation. And victims of child abuse don't base their opinions of gay marriage based on how badly they were beaten. Quit trying to find "meaning" as to why she is the way she is. And quit trying to turn this into part of the crusade. I am completely for gay marriage and equal rights, even adoption. I am not for obtaining those rights through a smear campaign and bullying. You are no longer the "bigger" person here, she just became that. This is completely uncalled for and disgusting. Why don't YOU crusade for something other than what benefits your own self interest? How about kids dying of cancer? I can understand this if you are pointing to an interview where she chose to disclose this information publicly, but this is insane.
