God, where do I start?? This isn't new info ~ keep up on Chanel News (they have an very cool website for a fashion house), Perez, and PLEASE put some freaking effort into LEARNING about fashion in general before spouting off! Lily was chosen for Chanel's "Coco Cocoon" handbags (coming in October 2009) ~ she IS NOT the "New Face of Chanel". She is ONLY representing this particular handbag line. Personally, I LOVE the creative concept of "Breakfast at Tiffany's circa 2009" that this AD CAMPAIGN is emulating. The focus is supposed to be on the HANDBAGS (whether I like the handbags myself, is irrelevant ~ the creative execution is very cool), BUT I also understand creative concepts are subjective, and not everyone is going to love EVERY concept. Karl chose Lily because he thinks she "is fun" and is often photographed wearing their fashions.

I'm so sorry Coquito lost his battle ~ he has now "Crossed Over the Rainbow Bridge" ~ it's just a phrase that dog lovers use in addition to Doggy Heaven. I had to put my cherished Roxy out of pain on May 12th ~ a few short weeks ago and it was devastating. By far, the most difficult decision I have had to make yet. I'm truly sorry for your loss.
