I said this on facebook soon after it happened, I'm almost 100% positive that was scripted. MTV has faked scandalous moments before, in a silly attempt to stay relevant. Why weren't there bodyguards at the stage to keep crazy rapid fans (of Kanyes) of the stage? How was Kanye able to get within touching distance of a celebrity at an awards show? Why wasn't music, or something played as soon as he grabbed the mic? It just seems really fishy to me. Either MTV made this happen, or they are the MOST incompetent network in the history of lame, unimportant award shows.
