Of course I watched the show. I love this show. Yes, Kate is a bitch and is finally getting what she had coming for so long now. I believe her tears are real but she did it to herself.
John spoke more in this episode than he did in all of the others combined. He is only human and I do not know of many men who would not have stepped out for a little relief.
Kate was only with the kids for a weekend and it was making her nuts. Imagine doing it all of the time. She could not last without blowing a gasket!!!
There is no way for this family to have a decent life without the money coming in from the show. They are damned if they do and they are damned if they don't.
