on Mike Hukcabee Is Disgusting at 01:19 11/20/2008What did he say that was bad? Gays SHOULDN'T be allowed to marry anywhere! Someone's colour is not the same as someone's sexual preference, Perez!

on The Big Pink Elephant In The Room at 04:08 11/11/2008Faulting Obama isn't the way to go. ANYONE trying to win a national election in their right minds would not touch a topic as sensitive and contraversial as gay marriage within in teh last 4 days of the election! John McCain didn't even want to discuss Autism with Jenny Mccartney within the last month for fear of his poll numbers! Just cause he didn't fight your fight for you you wanna fault him. Arnold Schwarzenegger is the republican gov of the state and was against Prop 8...why are you NOT faulting him for trying to sway the white repubs who put the Prop 8 ticket over the top? Get over yourselves!

on The Big Pink Elephant In The Room at 03:57 11/11/2008I'm so happy this fact came out...yes 70% of black's voted for it...but as the female commentator said...you can't make it a black vs white b/c white republicans overwhelmingly voted yes on prop 8. They didn't lose b/c of blacks! And as a Multi Racial American....sorry but my religion is 1st and had I lived in CA I would have voted Yes on Prop 8 also. Just because gays are more accepted now than they were maybe 20 years ago doesn't mean I have to compromise my beliefs! I don't condone it and will not contribute to help advance what they believe no matter how ridiculous that might sound to you or anyone else. I'll respect you as a human being but other than that you get no sympathy from me. You CHOSE to be gay! You CANNOT compare that to blacks or jews or anyother race that has been discriminated against. And it's NOT the same thing not matter how you try to spin it. See if an orthodox Jew voted No on Prop 8...not these celebs who are Jewish by marriage/lineage!

on A Sad Fact at 12:17 11/05/2008Sorry Perez but you chose to be gay. It's a sickness you chose to give in to and the way you wanted to live your life. There is a vast difference between someone being born in a Hispanic/Asian/African American family and a gay person. Its a matter of discriminating based off someones ethnicity/looks/color and someones sexual preference. As a minority who is discriminated against often in America by rural whites, I would have voted Yes on 8 not based off what you look like but what my religion and values are plain and simple. I can't sympathize with you simply because you're discriminated against.

on Politics and the City at 17:17 10/31/2008 as a reply on the comment by JembaBembaMaybe his family is actually content with the way they're living. I have filthy rich people in my family with mansions/condos and the whole shabang... I don't go around asking for handouts just because they're more well off than I am. You make due with what you have and work harder! If his grandmother was living in poverty then that's something to talk about. But a brother who lives in a different country in which the currency and cost of living is lower than the states. I've lived abroad where the cost was $80 a month for 2 people to survive off food. Does that make my aunt who's a rich professor a deadbeat? Get over yourself!
