He probably had the argument/fight with Rhi, got angry, and left the scene to cool off in order to not cause any more damage and he left the car to make sure Rhianna had a way home/wherever if she needed.

But I agree with titi83, this whole thing is sketchy and I refuse to believe he could have done this!
