im from cape breton, i hake that trail every summer. its a very popular spot, and i was shocked when i heard there was an attack. they must have been starving or young were nearby. and there are reports that wolves and coyotes are crossbreeding in that area.though i am not in anyway blaming her, a young girl from out of town shouldnt have been hiking alone. very sad.
