I did not read the book, but I saw the movie. I thought the acting was great, the story line on the movie (And I've heard the book as well) was amazing. I spent the entire movie crying with my girlfriends and when the credits started rolling, people sat in their seats still thinking about the ending. I heard the ending in the book was different and what it was, to avoid spoiling it for anyone who hasn't read it, I think it should've followed the author's ending. Not only because when a movie is based off of a book it should really be true to the story, especially the ending because that is the lasting impression a person has about a movie/book. If you're in the mood for crying and being emotionally moved, see it. If crying and being sad aren't your thing, skip it.
I'm Catholic and I'm also pro-life. But I do NOT agree with this priest. What was the alternative to voters? Someone who is pro-choice...or someone who wants to remain in a war where thousands of troops are being killed and thousands of innocent people in the Middle East are losing their lives. I don't think either is right, just my opinion, but if this priest is going to condemn people, he's acting as a God when he is not and he is also not considering that war is also a way for people to be killed, is it not??
I smell Diva among all the bullshit.
