I think she was the main "person" behind the perplexing and appalling comeback of fur in fashion. She makes Cruella Deville seem like Mother Theresa. I'm trying to decide who is more hideously evil--Wintour or Palin. Can we please vote both of these women off the planet? It would be a gentler, more humane place without their selfish, vain asses.
Looks like they found a particularly unflattering photo (combination of too much flashbulb, no makeup, bad hair day) of a lovely woman.
Non-vegans can be such haters. The reason? Most people love their dogs, but cruelly cage, slaughter and eat other mammals. They have to somehow rationalize their doting love of one species, and sadistic and inhumane treatment of others. They can live with this huge hypocracy it by just not thinking about it.
Instead, it's so much easier to demonize people who *do* think about the huge disconnect between how we treat pets and how we treat farm animals, like Ms. Silverstone, and live by their principles. Vegans are not wack jobs. Non-vegans who say they love animals are the ones who need to look within themselves and ask how can I continue to ignore the suffering?
