And you actually asked him to "Democrats" and "Republicans" who are "not affiliated with any party?" Do you NOT know that Democrats are affiliated with the Democratic party and Republicans are affiliated with the Republican party? Stick to subjects you know...gossip (NOT facts or politics).
Why would you ask the President-elect to "unify" the country, then ask him to be "bipartisan?" Don't you mean NON-Partisan? You ARE an ignorant homo!

Thanks, but no thanks. I don't hate gay people, I'm glad gay people are being treated more fairly now than ever before, but I still don't want their will imposed on my religious beliefs. I understand that Civil Unions afford couples the same rights as heterosexual couples with Civil Ceremonies (marriage without a minister but in front of a judge). If that's not entirely true, then let's get to work on making civil unions more like regular civil ceremonies. I'm just tired of people not respecting my civil rights of freedom of religion so I can accept their civil rights that clash with my religion. It's a vicious cycle.

I'm sorry if people's feelings are hurt, but if you recall, Jesus also hurt people's feelings when He reminded them of their sins against God. Remember the Pharisees who wanted Mary Magdalene stoned for committing adultery, but it turns out they were committing the same sin? When all is said and done, my eternal life depends on my keeping the commandments, not how others judge me. (Revelation 14:12). I don't hate gays, I just despise the sin that has caused such divide among people. By the way, I also do not support the idea of heterosexual couples living together without a commitment. END

I'm considered a liberal Democrat. I have ALWAYS voted Democrat (as has my family). I voted for Obama without reservation because he is also against gay marriage (he said this at the meeting with Rick Warren). When it comes to gay marriage, I prefer to stick with the 10 commandments and 1 Corinthians 6:9,10. PART II
