This is silly. The Catholic church should move on. That said, this is far from hate. The churhc is simply being what it is - Catholic. To say however, that being pro-life = hate is stupid. The suffragists Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, as well as ERA-author Alice Paul, as well as the first female presidential candidate Victorial Woodhull, and many others including Pearl Buck, Mary Wollestonescraft were strong pro-life advocates and equated the non-human status of women to that of the unborn. To say that these early feminists are full of hate is not only utterly ignorant, it is HATE.

The Republican brand is damaged beyond repair. You can put Jesus in the Republican ticket and he will still be a laughing stock in the world. On the contrary, you can put Obama on the Dem ticket and the world will still be in love with him. Go Obama.

That was the question churning in my mind as I witnessed this astonishing American presidential race. The Sydney Daily Telegraph‘s Laurie Oakes: It’s not fair. The Americans have got Sarah Palin. Why can’t we have one of those? I think Palin should sue the Sun and the Daily Telegraph and other conservative papers hailing her as the "Messiah". Aside from the fact that that monicker is already patented to Obama, Palin is simply ridiculous and funny because she is a Repthuglican. The fact is MLK could be the Rethug nominee and he will still be ridiculous.

I am really worried that these string of anti-Palin hoaxes are demystifying journalism and are beginning to strip off the mask of media neutrality. So far, the most outrageous claims against Palin are turning out to be bogus. Many Obama supporters are so embarrassed by these hoaxes which they themselves propagated in the first place, that they have taken the hoaxes off their sites (eg Daily Kos, Alan Colmes, and the Obama Campaign itself). The media and Hollywood have been a reliable accomplice to all these. These disilluionment is making redneckville wonder what else the media is lying to them about? Obama's change for now, seems to be trudging along an old and corrupt road of distortion and outright lies but the rednecks are overlooking the underlying motivations - which is to save the US from Republican hell. We are lying to save them from themselves and Bush. I just hope they thank us one day.
