People were speculating on the curse of "The Dark Knight" with Heath Ledger's death and Morgan Freeman almost buying the biscuit. You can bet you will see headlines that "Soul Men" is also cursed with the Mac Man and the Shaft Man dying one after the other. The movie is scheduled to come out in the fall and has other talents in it like Sean Hayes, (the ubiquitous and hilarious Jack in Will & Grace) Jennifer Coolidge, and John Legend! The movie is about two estranged soul-singing legends (Jackson and Mac) who have not spoken to one another for twenty years, who agree to participate in a reunion performance at the Apollo Theater to honor their recently deceased band leader (John Legend). Creepy...if I'd been in that movie I'd be checking under my bed and making sure the boogiemen in the closet have plenty of snacks before I go to sleep. Seriously, I can't even begin to imagine what the cast and crew are thinking right now...besides they're obvious mortality...
