This is terrible! How is it possible in 2008 that America does not have equal rights for all citizens? Discrimination shouldn't even be given the chance to be declared "legal." It should be a given. Just because some people wouldn't participate in or support gay marriage doesn't mean they should have the choice to take anyone else's rights away.
Okay - whether or not Matt Damon has any authority politics, he does raise some good questions about Palin's lack of experience. And other commentors are right to say that the American public should do more fact checking and research themselves. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the majority of voting Americans won't take the time to get all the info to make a well-informed decision.
So, we are left with a country full of lemmings who will vote for Palin/McCain cause she's either a woman or she's "hot." Sweet. Maybe we can get some Playmates in the White House next if being a "hot woman" is all it takes to get the vote. Scary.
It seems as though the JoFros got their heads on straight and are still grateful for where they are. Apparently, they were touring in a van only a year ago with just their parents and Big Rob. And, they definitely got the talent and drive to succeed. What 15, 19 and 20 year olds do you know that work months at a time without a single day off? Plus, they've got a good support system. I'm sure they'll have the longetivity that Hanson does, but there's room for both bands! Maybe Bonus Jonas will even join the bros one day! Stick him on drums! Or make him breakdance like the Beckham's kid!
I'd go w/LezLogurt and YAMantha, although if that's way too easy since they're not exactly "closeted," maybe Queen Latifah as yams and Jeannete Jenkins (her "trainer/gf") as yogurt? Just a thought...
